Twice we've been here and twice the food and service has been excellent! I recommend dishes with noodles with chicken and sauce, like the francaise and Milanese. This will be a 5 star rating if the pervasive smell of weed is mitigated.

This is a little hidden gem that serves some of the best “real” Italian food we’ve ever had in the Capital Region. Everything is homemade from the sauce, tender meatballs, pasta etc. prepared and cooked to perfection both in flavor and texture. The sauce you want to drink from a cup - it is that good!!! Their beans and greens with sweet Italian sausage, lasagna, veal supreme, and lemon blueberry cake were absolutely delicious. This place is a rare find of just really good Italian food. Portions and prices are very reasonable. Dawn was our server - very welcoming and made our experience a good one. Donald, one of the owners who also does some of the cooking came by to greet us and see how our dinners were. Highly recommend Anthony’s Italian Restaurant.

This is the spot to go if you want to have some real, homey Italian food. I went on a Saturday night and it wasn't crowded. Both the service and the meal were excellent. Great for sharing, with generous servings. When they claimed the pasta was homemade and prepared fresh, they weren't joking. It is quite apparent! The calamari, meatballs, eggplant parmesan, and Alfredo are highly recommended!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner tonight at Anthony’s Italian Restaurant Cohoes food was delicious, with the Meat and Cheese Board, Fried Mozzarella, and Stuffed Cherry Peppers for appetizers, followed by Chicken Alfredo, Shrimp Cavatelli, Veal Francese, and Seafood Risotto (not pictured) for dinner. Service was a bit slow, but they were by themselves, working the bar and the dining room, and were very pleasant, so we didn't mind. The food made up for any inconvenience. The flavors were robust, and the plates were well-portioned. Definitely will heading back soon!

My spouse, two adult daughters and I had tickets for a candlelight string performance. Prior to the performance we wanted to dine nearby, and Anthony's restaurant was only a few minutes from the venue. We had a 6:30pm reservation, arrived at 6:15pm and were promptly seated. The restaurant has a bar area separate from the dining area. On this night in the dining area there was a gentleman singing live with background music. He sang holiday songs as well as some oldies such as Frank Sinatra. He sang quite well but on occasion the music would get loud, and we could not hear each other talking. Bread was provided with olive oilpesto for dipping and was delicious. For an appetizer we ordered calamari that came with a marinara sauce for dipping. It was very good although next time we would order it without the cherry peppers. It was not very spicy, but my spouse and one daughter prefer not to eat spicy food. Me and my other daughter thought spiciness was just right. My spouse ordered pesto rigatoni pasta with chicken, one daughter ordered pesto angel hair pasta with shrimp, and my other daughter and I ordered chicken parmigiana, one with angel hair and the other with rigatoni both with a marinara sauce. All were delicious. The only thing was my spouse's pesto meal was lacking enough chicken to justify the $24.50 cost. Aside from that, the meals were hearty with leftovers to take home. Overall, the meal with drinks (two sodas with free refills) was $121 before tip and tax. The Waitress was very friendly, and we would go back again.

Delicious beyond our expectations. The portion size was amazing for both the antipasto and the chicken parmesan with linguine. The pictures don't do the food Justice and we had plenty of leftovers as we shared one order of antipasto and one order of chicken. Highly recommended we can't wait to come back.

If you’re looking for an authentic and quaint Italian restaurant, this is the place to go. The service was great the food was even better. They weren’t kidding when they said the pasta is fresh and homemade. You can definitely tell!
